Launching “Student Sustainability Lab”

January 14, 2014 – Annapolis, MD – Our “Student Sustainability Lab” (SSL) is an innovative academic program, bringing sustainability issues to life for students in our community. On January 15, the SSL program will feature a screening of the film TINY: A Story About Living Small. Filmmakers Christopher Smith and Merete Mueller will be in town to work with students as they begin their academic journey and prepare for building a Tiny House in the summer of 2014.

SustainaFest Announces 2013 Maryland Green Ball

January 3, 2013 – Annapolis, MD – SustainaFest brings a whole new Saint Patrick’s Day tradition to Annapolis with its inaugural “Maryland Green Ball” on March 15th at the Governor Calvert House in beautiful downtown Annapolis. Join us and a couple hundred of our closest friends as we learn about SustainaFest and its sustainability education and action-oriented mission while celebrating one of Annapolis’s most revered holidays. The event will feature our “Art for a Sustainable Chesapeake” program, music by the renowned Irish rock band Barleyjuice, and highlight a new partnership with the International League of Conservation Photographers. Tickets go on sale January 30, 2013.

Three New Inspirational Guest Speakers Will Join A Powerful Lineup for SustainaFest’s ‘Films to Inspire A Sustainability Revolution’

SustainaFest CEO and Cleanest Line Media to be Featured on Highly-Respected “Voices of the Chesapeake Bay” Program on 103.1 WRNR-FM Radio September 30th @ 9am

September 24, 2012 – Annapolis, MD – SustainaFest is pleased to announce that our Chief Executive Officer, George Chmael II, will be appearing on 103.1 WRNR-FM’s award-winning “Voices of the Chesapeake,” a highly-regarded radio talk show. Michael Buckley hosts this well-known Sunday morning program that features critical stories highlighting important Chesapeake Bay efforts. Chmael will be joined by Zach Chmael who leads Cleanest Line Media and has created a short film entitled “Let’s Be The Change” in support of the SustainaFest effort. The show runs from 7-10am each Sunday and SustainaFest’s appearance is slated for 9am on September 30, 2012.
